Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our business, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with our patients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying patient information, and processing transactions.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills in customer service, communication, and problem-solving. You will also have the chance to work with a talented team of professionals who are dedicated to providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions and verifying patient information
  • Process transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and resolving issues
  • Develop strong relationships with patients and customers
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred
  • PTCB certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
