Job Title: CDL Instructor

At the State of South Carolina, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL Instructor to join our team. As a CDL Instructor, you will play a critical role in training students to become licensed CDL Class A truck drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for CDL students, including classroom and over-the-road instruction.
  • Meet with students to discuss their career goals and ensure they understand the requirements and expectations of the CDL program.
  • Provide guidance and support to students throughout their training, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective training program.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in CDL training, making recommendations for program improvements as needed.
