Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at our E Street Thrift Store in San Bernardino. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers and donors receive a genuine greeting and prompt assistance.
  • Stock and merchandise products on the sales floor, ensuring that all items are accurately priced and displayed.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the store and donation area, keeping it clean, neat, and organized.
  • Perform cleaning duties as assigned by management.
  • Follow all POS/Cash Register policies and procedures.
  • Maintain safety and compliance standards.
  • Attend required monthly store meetings.
  • Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory items accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide quality assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages.
  • Courteously assist donors in the removal of donated items from their vehicles and provide receipts.
  • Separate and sort donated materials into proper containers and stack them as instructed by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions.
  • Must pass a background check, which includes a criminal history and sex offender registry check.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors.
  • Physical demands include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting on an intermittent or continuous basis.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
Work Schedule

Our stores operate 7 days a week. Work schedules are determined by management and employees must be flexible to ensure adequate store coverage. Part-time associates may be scheduled to work any part-time shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
