Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lutheran Social Services of IL. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, janitorial duties, and repairs of buildings and grounds. You will also report needs for major repairs as required by LSSI/HUD and follow all standards regarding safety, licensing, regulatory, and agency requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs of buildings and grounds
Report needs for major repairs as required by LSSI/HUD
Follow all standards regarding safety, licensing, regulatory, and agency requirements
Assist in implementation of preventative maintenance program
Assist in resident apartment or room turnover preparations

Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
6 months or more experience in maintenance related experience
Light maintenance experience or handyman related experience
Valid Driver's License in good standing
Access to an insured vehicle with required and valid IL statutory minimum insurance coverage
