Senior Emergency Department Nurse Specialist

The Senior Emergency Department Nurse is a key member of our team, responsible for assessing, coordinating, and managing the needs of assigned patients throughout their care. This includes implementing physician orders, administering medications, and evaluating diagnostic tests. The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree, current RN license, and a minimum of 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience in an Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a cohesive plan of care for patients, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
- Supervise and guide ancillary personnel, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
