Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Coach to lead our baseball team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the sports program, including teaching techniques and elements of play, enforcing standards for discipline and sportsmanlike behavior, and supervising assistant coaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach techniques and elements of play for the sports program
  • Enforce standards for discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times
  • Supervise assistant coaches in the sports program
  • Ensure care, maintenance, and storage of athletic equipment
  • Emphasize student safety in all aspects of the sport
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director, Chief Leadership and Learning Officer, and Superintendent
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate
  • Prefer successful classroom and/or coaching experience
Working Conditions

The Head Coach will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong leadership and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be able to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and see objects at a distance.
