We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Merit Health River Oaks. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Administer pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic agents related to respiratory care procedures.
- Implement treatment, disease prevention, pulmonary rehabilitation, or diagnostic regimes prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.
- Assess and initiate emergency procedures as needed.
- An Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program is required.
- One year of acute Respiratory Therapy Services is preferred.
- A credential of Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required.
- A Respiratory Therapist License issued by the state of Mississippi is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required.
- Experience in Ventilators, High Flow O2, and BiPaps is a must.
- Cerner charting experience is a plus.
