Job Summary

Laredo Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Nursery department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, and perform various patient tests and administer medications as needed.
  • Teach patients and families about their conditions, medications, and self-care skills to promote independence and improve health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal results.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • Licensed as a R.N. by the Texas State Board of Registered Nurse Examiners.
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications (may be completed within the first 90 days of hire).
  • Minimum 3 months of experience as an RN (internship or equivalent experience accepted).
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation preferred for applicants with less than 1 year of applicable experience in nursing.
  • Nursery experience preferred.
