Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisory Physician to lead our Patient-Centered Medical Home team at the Defense Health Agency. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary care services to our patients, while also supervising and mentoring other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including examination, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of medical conditions.
  • Supervise and mentor other healthcare providers, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from a recognized medical school.
  • Permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
  • US Citizenship required.
