As a Water Treatment Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing water treatment systems and operations, conducting chemical and physical tests to ensure water quality, and adjusting and repairing water treatment equipment and controls.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and manage water treatment systems and operations
- Conduct chemical and physical tests to ensure water quality
- Adjust and repair water treatment equipment and controls
- Keep records of water quality and other indicators
- Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards
- Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates
- Certification as a water treatment operator
- 5+ years of experience in managing water purification systems
- Understanding of water chemistry and environmental regulations
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation
- Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements
- Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure
