Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team for a travel opportunity in Fife, WA. As a Physical Therapist with Travel Nurse Across America, you will have the chance to work in various settings and locations, gaining valuable experience and skills.

Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and executing plans of care for patients in the acute care setting. Your tasks will include:
  • Overseeing supervising PTAs and support staff
  • Billing within the respective setting, following guidelines
  • Understanding and complying with PT board rules and regulations
  • Interfacing with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care
  • Understanding adaptive equipment
  • Evaluating and creating plans of care
  • Modifying plans of care as indicated based on patient condition
  • Using Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
  • Providing timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must have 6 months of experience as a Physical Therapist. You must also have BLS and state-specific licensing. Additionally, you should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. You should have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Additional Requirements

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
