Job Description

">

The Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist will perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasound technology to produce high-quality images for patient evaluation. Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Setting up and adjusting equipment, as well as manually maneuvering transducers to perform exams.">
  • Implementing safety standards and performing quality control procedures.">
  • Performing routine and complex studies, and assisting in various imaging procedures.">
  • Recognizing significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.">
  • Ensuring prompt submission of all high-quality images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, images labeled correctly, and patient data/history).">
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and other areas.">
  • Maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies.">
  • Working in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.">

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A completion of a sonography certification program.">
  • No prior experience is required, but certification as a registered sonographer is necessary.">
  • A strong understanding of ultrasound technology and diagnostic procedures.">
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.">
