Position Overview

Tact Staff is currently seeking a travel nurse specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for an exciting opportunity.

Requirements

Minimum Experience: 1 year; first-time travelers are welcome.

Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH

Skills and Work Environment

Experience in various settings including MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, and CVICU is preferred. Primary floating is required in the ICU, with potential to float to other units as needed.

Patient Ratios
  • ICU: 1:2-3
  • PCU: 1:4-5
  • MS, MS Tele: 1:5-6
System Requirements

Familiarity with Epic is required, along with experience using Pyxis and SBAR.

Uniform and Scheduling

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Weekends: Every other weekend (approximately 6 weekends during a 13-week contract)

Floating: Required

Call Requirements: None

Holidays: Expected to work during major holidays as per the outlined policy.

Compliance

Full compliance is necessary to ensure timely start; delays may result in a two-week pushback due to orientation schedules.
