Your responsibilities and how you will influence Silgan Dispensing Systems:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial assessments across all business facets to establish a holistic improvement strategy. Collaborate with business leaders to foster operational focus and enhancements.
  • Oversee all Audit and Compliance functions: Internal/Substantive/Statutory Audit adherence, SOX compliance, Internal Controls, Accounting Policies, and Procedures.
  • Strategic Business Assistance: Formulate strategies, manage M&A activities, develop commercial strategies and margin enhancement, analyze capital, operations, footprint, costing, competitor dynamics, and oversee Free Cash Flow planning and management.
  • Financial Administration: Manage Insurance, Tax, Treasury, Accounts Receivable and Payable, Intercompany loans, Cash Management, Credit, Collections, Royalties, Transfer pricing; Oversee Working Capital Management.
  • Monthly Closing: Supervise the closing process, conduct Monthly Performance Review meetings, and Plant Financial Reviews.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Handle Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting and Analysis, SG&A, Host Analytics, Bridges, prepare for Board of Directors meetings, and analyze operational and commercial productivity.
  • Divisional Information Technology: Support SDS business processes by providing guidance and assistance as IT collaborates with the business on matters such as data management, application development, ERP and system integration, and reporting.
  • Team Development: Coach and mentor the Finance Team, along with Performance Management.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Strong analytical mindset with a robust business partnership approach.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data, extracting meaningful insights to elucidate complex financial topics to non-financial personnel and guide decisions with the Leadership Team.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement: Objectivity and the leadership courage to implement change.
  • MBA preferred; CPA or CMA designation is advantageous.
  • Experience in public accounting, plant controller, or divisional/corporate controller roles.
  • Comprehensive fluency in all financial domains including: accounting, FP&A, internal controls, audit, treasury, risk management, budgets, and forecasting.
  • Proven track record of developing, leading, and inspiring large, multinational teams.
  • Familiarity with international/global accounting and finance practices.
  • Experience in leading Acquisitions and business integration.
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing operations and product costing methodologies.
