Economic Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Economic Analyst to join our team at National Experienced Workforce Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) through a grant administered program.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth analyses of economic issues associated with ecological and conservation policies, synthesizing data and information to provide advice and recommendations to management and conservation districts.
- Provide analytical support for regulatory and policy actions, changes in programs, and specific conservation projects, including contributing work on impact assessments and cost/benefit analyses.
- Assist in efforts to develop methods and tools to estimate the economic benefits of conservation programs and specific projects.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in conducting analyses of economic issues associated with ecological and conservation policies, conducting quantitative analysis and application of statistical principles, and assisting in the development of methods and tools to estimate the economic benefits of conservation programs.
- Valid State Driver's license.
- Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Annual information system security, anti-harassment, and civil rights training.
- Travel Requirements: Occasionally to satisfy the duties of the position.
- Remote work arrangements are available for this position within the state of Iowa.
