Residential LPN Opportunity

ACLD is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Residential Program team. As an integral part of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and ensure accurate documentation
  • Perform medical treatments, including colostomy checks and changes
  • Assist Registered Nurses with medical emergencies and provide support as needed
  • Review medical charts and complete necessary documentation
  • Provide nursing coverage at other ACLD Day program sites as required
Requirements:
  • Current NYS LPN license
  • One year of health services experience
  • General knowledge of medications and their interactions
  • Prior experience with tracheotomies and PEG tubes is a plus
