About the Speech Language Pathologist Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the Kennedy-Donovan Center. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to meet their full potential and thrive in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screening, assessments, and ongoing service coordination according to agency standards.
  • Complete reports of assessments, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
  • Maintain appropriate communication with physicians, clinics, and community agencies participating in each child's care.
  • Provide information to parents that enable them to make informed decisions for their child's progress.
Requirements
  • Active Massachusetts CCC-SLP License, required.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation, required.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent movement within classroom including but not limited to: kneeling, bending, sitting, lifting, and positioning of students.
  • Operation of adaptive and specialized equipment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds alone, 51+ pounds with the assistance of another person or adaptive equipment.
  • Ability to physically assist individuals as determined by their needs.
  • Ability to tolerate significant amounts of walking, standing, and sitting.
