DCS Corp is seeking a highly skilled Cyber System Security Engineer to support the Navy's F/A-18 Integrated Product Team at China Lake, CA.
Job Summary:
The Cyber System Security Engineer will assess and mitigate cyber threats at the system, sub-system, hardware, and software level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess cyber threats and determine mitigation strategies.
- Analyze system technical and programmatic documentation.
- Write reports based on findings.
- Identify threat vectors and risks.
- Develop mitigation options.
- Research known mitigations.
- Apply Defense-in-Depth approaches.
- Brief mitigations to customers.
- Support software, supply chain, and mission assurance plans.
- Analyze software development practices and build/delivery pipelines.
- Analyze system/product/component origins and supply chain origins.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in Science/Engineering or Systems Engineering.
- Platform or weapon experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and be TS/SCI eligible.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, investigative, and leadership skills.
- Possess a minimum of one of the following certifications: CEH, Certificates from advanced cyber training programs.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Experience or knowledge of embedded systems, MIL-STD 1553, Real-time Operating Systems, Radio Frequency, Systems Engineering/Systems Thinking.
- Familiarity with a programming language.
- Familiarity with Static and Dynamic Analysis Tools.
