About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at Westside Family Healthcare Inc. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dentists in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Escort patients to and from treatment rooms, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Record accurate treatment notes in patient charts, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to our protocols.
  • Perform clinical procedures as directed by our dentists, adhering to our practice act and company protocols.
  • Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to patients, promoting their understanding and comfort.
  • Monitor patient flow, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Maintain dental units, instruments, and treatment rooms in a clean and organized state, adhering to our sterilization protocols.
  • Arrange patient charts and radiographs for the next day's appointments, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic life support certification.
  • Current Delaware X-ray certification.
  • At least six months of experience using Microsoft Office software and electronic dental or medical record software.
  • Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program or relevant experience.
