Caregiver for Youth at Risk

We are seeking a qualified Caregiver for Youth at Risk to join our team at New Horizons Ranch & Center, Inc. in Goldthwaite, Texas.

The estimated salary for this role is $16-$18 per hour, with a minimum of 40 hours worked per week.

This position involves providing direct care and support to meet the daily needs of children, ages 5-17, who have experienced emotional trauma.

Your responsibilities will include planning, supervising, and assisting with daily activities, such as meals, hygiene, and homework, as well as adhering to treatment plans created by our staff.

You will also transport children to school, office appointments, and recreational activities using company-provided vans.

To be considered for this role, you must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and tuberculosis test.

A valid driver's license is required, and you must have insight and understanding of cultural diversity and the ability to work with diverse populations.

You should be able to perform conflict resolution and crisis intervention, possess positive verbal and written communication skills, and work well in a team and independently.
