Job Summary:

As a Direct Care Professional at Berkshire County Arc, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with daily living needs. This position requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who can provide personal care, housekeeping, cooking, and transportation services. You will work closely with individuals to help them achieve their personal goals and become as independent as possible.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide housekeeping and cooking services to ensure a clean and safe living environment.
  • Transport individuals to appointments and recreational activities.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records, reports, and data necessary to meet the requirements of Berkshire County Arc and any certifying or regulatory agency.
  • Communicate effectively with other staff, family members, and individuals.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED and 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
