Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver standardized solutions across all Unified Tech Group Inc in-house controllers and cloud/edge platforms.
  • Document design requirements and correlate them with test cases to validate software functionality.
  • Employ automated testing tools within build environments, benches, and vehicles to ensure functionality at the Function, Controller, and System levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Systems & Safety Engineering, Electrical Architecture, Calibration, and Vehicle Performance.
  • Develop software for vehicle-level functions and conduct integration and verification testing with minimal guidance from lead engineers.
  • Investigate software defects; identify root causes, create software solutions, and verify resolution.
  • Engage in design and analysis of modifications.
  • Diagnose, debug, and resolve issues related to vehicle hardware and software.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve project milestones.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated technical and professional expertise in Android and associated software design, development, and testing.
  • Experience in designing and developing applications using Java/J2EE/Python/Spring Boot/PCF/Unix/Power BI/Cassandra/Kafka/Hadoop.
  • Familiarity with cloud/Edge Hosting of services and applications, ensuring interoperability between cloud and data centers.
  • Proficient in designing and developing applications and services utilizing various protocols such as webRTC, WebSocket, GRPC, protobuffer, MQTT, DDS, etc.
  • Experience in developing applications using SOA Framework, with a strong understanding of Microservices/Event-driven Architecture.
  • Ability to create solutions that leverage telemetry/message queues/events.
  • Knowledge of C++ programming, Java, and Kotlin.
  • Experience with Big Data solutions, including but not limited to Kafka/pulsar/Cassandra and file storage solutions like Amazon S3.
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining mobile CI/CD pipelines and push notification services.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills to effectively collaborate across various organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn from and share knowledge with colleagues in a dynamic environment.
  • High integrity, capability to navigate ambiguity, and self-directed initiative.
  • Consistent display of innovative, customer-centric thinking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
  • Experience with GIT/source code management, CI/CD development, and open-source software development/contribution.
  • Experience in cloud development using Azure, Amazon, or Google platforms.
  • Familiarity with microcontroller architecture, electronic control systems, and embedded system development.
  • Experience in Android embedded systems development utilizing the Android OS framework.
  • Knowledge of network engineering, telecommunications, and network development/testing.
  • Experience with edge, cloud, IoT technologies, operating systems, OS internals, OS design, and virtualization/containerization technologies.
  • Understanding of data science, data analytics tools, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI).
  • Familiarity with AUTOSAR standards and methodologies.
  • Knowledge and experience with CAN, LIN, or Ethernet communication protocols.
