Job Description: As a Field Based Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with shelter staff to address the needs of clients with substance use disorders. Your responsibilities will include supervising Peer Specialists, conducting SBIRT screenings, and providing harm reduction education. You will also engage with clients in person and create linkages and referrals for them.
Required Skills and Qualifications: A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Certified Addiction Counselor (CASAC) is required. Licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) is preferred. CPR training certification is also required.
