Role Summary: The Lead Automotive Service Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that all repairs are executed accurately and efficiently by skilled technicians, while also maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction within the service department. This position involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles effectively, adhering to established guidelines and standards set forth by the dealership and Delta World Tire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately diagnose vehicle issues based on certifications and experience.
  • Execute complex and heavy-duty repairs.
  • Complete tasks as outlined in the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with precision and efficiency.
  • Communicate technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to non-technical individuals, including management and customers.
  • Suggest essential services to maintain vehicle performance; document all recommendations in customer records.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and report any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Management.
  • Maintain current ASE certifications and renew any expiring credentials.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred unexpired ASE certifications or equivalent experience.
  • Valid/current driver's license is necessary.
  • Availability to work a minimum of five days, including weekends.
