About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner, including verifying, renewing, and upgrading membership products
  • Scan merchandise through a point-of-sale system to ensure accurate inventory counts and purchase totals
  • Collect payments via cash, check, or other charge payments from members
  • Issue receipts or change due to members
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the sales floor and assist with general club housekeeping when necessary
Requirements
  • Basic math skills preferred
  • Prior cashier or sales experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity expectations
