Senior Financial Analyst Role Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in providing strategic financial insights, budgeting, and forecasting to support decision-making processes. This role is integral in managing, coordinating financial plans, forecasts, and ad-hoc reporting for various Technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial models, annual plans, and quarterly forecasts.
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close variance analysis for key executive management.
  • Provide transparent, key financial data, trend information, and additional ad-hoc analysis on an as-needed basis.
  • Manage expenses, including on-premise and cloud hosting, network, multi-year sourced labor agreements, software as a service agreements, maintenance and support costs, capital investments, and capitalized labor.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to business partners to help them make informed business decisions.
  • Track business cases for multi-year projects.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of finance or accounting experience and/or business analysis experience.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Essbase, Oracle, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent business partnering skills with a focus on consulting and influencing mindset, demonstrated leadership ability, and excellent business judgement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to take a strong leadership role in implementing policies and procedures to support organizational objectives and business success.
  • Able to have transparent and productive relationships with peers and collaborate successfully.
