Job Summary

The Fire Sprinkler Technician is responsible for designing, installing, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems to ensure the safety of people and property. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and install fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints and specifications
  • Test and inspect fire sprinkler systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Maintain and repair fire sprinkler systems as needed
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure seamless project execution
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced technical school training or related work experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience installing pipe systems and valves required; 5+ years of experience preferred
  • Basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, customer service skills, decision-making skills, ability to multitask, ability to meet project schedules, ability to plan and organize, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to train others required
  • Ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English with employees and customers
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required
