Job Summary

Walters & Wolf, a leading Specialty Construction Company, is seeking a skilled Automatic Door Installer & Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining automatic doors and access control systems in commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Repair: Install and repair automatic swinging and sliding commercial doors, as well as troubleshoot and repair commercial door hardware and access control systems.
  • Attention to Detail: Accurately complete necessary paperwork, including work orders and quality assurance check sheets, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Customer Relations: Maintain good customer relations and provide a positive experience for clients.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Use basic power tools safely and effectively to perform tasks.
Requirements
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills are required to succeed in this role.
  • Industry Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the commercial door industry is necessary.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working experience with automatic doors, storefront doors, and electrified hardware is required.
  • Certifications: AAADM certification is a plus.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach above head with hands and arms, lift, push, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl, pull, talk and hear is required. The employee must also be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
