As a vital member of the Pharmacy Support Services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations across various pharmacy locations. This position is integral to the support structure of our pharmacy network, addressing a range of processing challenges and providing exceptional service to our pharmacy partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Central Processing Functions:
Manage the processing of new prescriptions received via fax, electronic submissions from healthcare providers, and through our automated systems. You will also address and resolve issues related to early refills, collaborating with patients and insurance representatives.
- Help Desk Functions:
Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving diverse processing inquiries from pharmacies, including third-party processing complications, password resets, and troubleshooting electronic signature capture systems. Additionally, you will maintain operational hours for automated systems, manage refill reminders, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a High School diploma or GED is required, along with 2-4 years of relevant experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. This role requires a commitment to a flexible schedule, including 4-10 hour shifts with rotating weekends. The position also offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring in-person attendance at designated core locations.
