Nurse Practitioner

Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at Texas Health HEB as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Deliver patient-centered care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
Participate in unit-based councils and committees to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
Associate degree from an accredited nursing program or diploma nurse program completion required.
BSN preferred.
One-year experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required.
CLIAFE must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
ACLS - within 90 days of hire required.
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire.
NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days of hire.
ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 12 months required.
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course within 12 months required.
ED experience preferred.
