Job Overview

Objective:

Carry out a variety of cleaning tasks as directed at specified locations for The Kennedy Collective Inc.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute general cleaning tasks utilizing suitable industrial techniques and safety protocols.
  • Work under the guidance of the Janitorial Crew Supervisor or the Manager of Janitorial Services.
  • Sanitize restrooms, vacuum, mop, polish, strip, and wax floors, dispose of waste and recyclables, clean surfaces, and perform general facility upkeep.
  • Adhere to all contract specifications in the execution of work.
  • Operate floor buffing machinery.
  • Manage and replenish the inventory of cleaning supplies and materials.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained in good working order.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Two years of experience in routine maintenance or custodial work.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record.
  • Must be adaptable to various environments, weather conditions, and locations based on assignment.
  • Ability to handle and utilize equipment and materials, which often involves lifting, carrying, and bending.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate initiative.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to handle and utilize equipment and materials, frequently involving lifting, carrying, and bending.
  • Regularly move weights up to 30 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Availability required between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with a focus on early morning shifts.
