Job Summary

The Complimentary AM Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in the hotel's breakfast area. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in delivering a quality experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and friendly service to guests in the breakfast area.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, chairs, and food and beverage stations.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests, including specialty coffee and tea drinks, and other menu items.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel products and services, including room service and amenities.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including side work duties and cash handling.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to obtain and provide a Food Handlers card, as required by local regulations.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence.
