Position Summary: We are in search of a dedicated and proficient Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a Medical ICU role in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in critical care nursing, including skills in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a committed healthcare professional aiming to deliver outstanding patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver critical care nursing services within a Medical ICU environment.
  • Execute IV insertion and phlebotomy with expertise.
  • Administer conscious sedation as required.
  • Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and react to any alterations in their condition.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to formulate and execute patient care strategies.
  • Ensure precise and prompt documentation of patient care and procedures.
  • Provide empathetic care and support to patients and their families.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in critical care nursing.
  • Expertise in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
  • Familiarity with conscious sedation practices.

Education and Certifications:

  • Valid New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Experience in IV/Phlebotomy is essential.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Phlebotomist Certification
  • RN License

Languages: English (Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing)
