As a Nordic Skiing Instructor, your primary role will be to guide our guests in mastering both classic and skate skiing techniques, ensuring they enjoy a remarkable experience in the snow-capped mountains, with the aim of fostering a passion for skiing.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering clear and effective instruction tailored to various skill levels, adhering to established teaching standards.
• Collaborating with fellow instructors to form groups based on shared interests and abilities.
• Maintaining uniform standards as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Engaging in professional development opportunities and training.
• Assessing guest experiences and providing constructive feedback to management.
• Assisting with various guest service tasks, including snow removal and equipment fitting.

Additionally, you may be involved in general mountain operations, which could include maintaining cleanliness and assisting with other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who:

• Exhibit outstanding customer service skills.
• Are available to work during peak seasons, including weekends and holidays.
• Possess flexibility in scheduling.
• Are at least sixteen (16) years of age at the time of application.
• Hold a PSIA - AASI Certification, which is advantageous.
• Can successfully complete a pre-employment background check.

Compensation and Benefits

Base wages are competitive and vary based on certifications, ranging from $17.50 to $22.00 per hour. Additional stipends may apply based on dual disciplines, accreditations, and tenure. A seasonal loyalty bonus of 5% of gross wages is also available.

This position does not include traditional benefits; however, all employees may contribute to a 401(k) plan after meeting specific criteria. Sick time is accrued at a rate of 1 hour for every 40 hours worked, up to a maximum of 64 hours annually.
