We are seeking a skilled CDL A truck driver to join our team at TransForce Inc. as a dedicated driver on a regional route.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a tractor-trailer combination on a regional route, transporting goods from Missouri to various locations in the Midwest.
- Ensure timely delivery of cargo, adhering to strict schedules and deadlines.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any issues or damage to the dispatcher.
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked, fuel consumption, and cargo details.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and other drivers to optimize route efficiency and minimize delays.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years of driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and maintain a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Manual transmission experience is required.
