Job Summary:

Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team of fire protection professionals. As a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, programming, inspection, and repair of fire alarm systems in various commercial, industrial, and institutional settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, program, inspect, and repair fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Conduct thorough site assessments to identify potential fire hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with customers, sales personnel, and managers to ensure effective communication and project completion.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Work experience, training, or education in fire alarm system installation, maintenance, programming, inspection, and repair.
  • Preference given to those with experience and certification in Notifier fire alarm systems.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers, technicians, sales personnel, and managers.
  • Ability to work in a variety of business settings, including commercial, industrial, construction, manufacturing, healthcare, education, and government facilities.
  • State of Oklahoma issued Fire Alarm Licenses or willingness to obtain applicable state licenses within the first three months of employment.
