Construction Surveyor

Walbec Group is seeking a skilled Construction Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing surveying and mapping services to support horizontal and vertical construction layouts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare drawings and maps to depict existing and proposed areas, elevations, and features.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations.
• Record survey results, including land or land feature characteristics.
• Calculate heights, depths, and relative positions of terrain.
• Assist in other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Five years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Basic survey skills and knowledge of surveying equipment.
• Basic math skills, including percentages and volumes.
• Experience in blueprint reading and understanding contract documents.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Civil Technology, Drafting Technology, or Surveying.
• Experience in surveying software, Civil 3D, or Carlson Survey.
