Parts Inventory Manager

A highly skilled Parts Inventory Manager is sought by Mountain Air Cargo to oversee the efficient management of aircraft parts and supplies. This role is responsible for ensuring that maintenance facilities and line stations have adequate inventory levels to meet company needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate with VP of Maintenance and department managers to ensure accurate forecasting of parts requirements
- Coordinate AOG situations and respond promptly to meet deadlines
- Ensure all parts requests are satisfied in a timely manner, maintaining positive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Source and evaluate purchase costs of aircraft tools and parts, working closely with purchasing agents and inventory control analysts
- Oversee all aircraft parts receiving, verifying FAA documentation accuracy and completeness
- Assist in compliance with Shelf Life Program, Tools and Test Equipment Calibration Program, and FAA requirements for Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUPS)
- Coordinate with vendors to meet deadlines for required parts and services
- Collaborate with accounting for payment verification and vendor cost validation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5+ years of experience in inventory management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven track record of successfully managing inventory levels, meeting deadlines, and ensuring high-quality customer service
- Ability to travel frequently, with occasional exposure to noise, chemicals, and other hazards
- Supervisory experience preferred, but not required
Salary:
$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
