Job Summary

This position facilitates and assists the providers and healthcare team in delivering excellent service and quality patient care. The Registered Nurse will perform and coordinate patient care activities in multiple settings, utilizing a variety of nursing skills and functions.

Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership, daily direction, and supervision to the healthcare team in the delivery of quality patient care.
  • Coordinates patient flow and assists the healthcare team to provide patient care.
  • Serves as a resource and decision-maker for staff regarding patient care problems and participates in training of healthcare staff.
  • Serves as a liaison with other healthcare agencies or services to promote coordinated healthcare across the continuum.
  • Demonstrates Standards of Behavior and adheres to the Code of Conduct in all aspects of job performance at all times.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory care setting or specialized experience important to the function of the respective department.
Work Environment

Work is performed at a workstation desk and in patient exam and treatment rooms, where space may be limited and confined. Overtime may be required.
