Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of complex applications requiring extensive administrative and technical knowledge.
- Lead and participate in all stages of system development, focusing on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing, and acceptance phases.
- Utilize advanced business or technical principles to resolve challenging technical issues and develop automated engineering solutions.
- Prepare and present briefings as needed, potentially serving as Task Leader, ensuring quality and service delivery for assigned tasks.
- Analyze customer requirements and high-level network architectures to create tailored specifications.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from design through implementation.
- Guide users in defining requirements, advising on alternative approaches, and conducting feasibility studies.
- Communicate technical information effectively to both technical team members and non-technical staff.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices to provide optimal solutions and safeguard government systems.
- Develop and maintain network architecture and design documentation, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Interact with government representatives regarding network engineering considerations and associated challenges.
- Ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables in the Network Engineering domain.
- Collaborate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives to ensure effective communication.
- Analyze and evaluate networks, identifying issues and proposing solutions for efficient operation.
- Lead systems engineering activities within projects, defining all aspects of network development from mission needs analysis to performance verification.
- Ensure efficient delivery of contract capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes.
Qualifications for Success:
- Education: Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience.
- Required Skillset:
- Ability to mitigate risks, control costs, and manage large-scale integrated projects.
- Review and approve system engineering documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Establish formal procedures for coordinating system integration activities among teams.
- Document all interface designs in a common format and maintain a shared repository.
- Clearance Level: TS/SCI
- Required Certifications:
- DoD M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification.
- IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent.
- Computing Environment: MCSA Server 2016 (full certification required within 180 days).
- Desired certifications: MCSA 2016/2019/Azure, Linux+, VCP-DCV, etc.
- Additional Requirements: Candidates must be willing to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions. Position may require physical activities such as lifting IT hardware and other moderately strenuous tasks.
