Optical Expert

Job Summary:

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a skilled Licensed Optician to deliver exceptional customer service and provide expert optical care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optical dispensing and a passion for helping customers achieve their best vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and serve customers with a smile, setting expectations and ensuring a positive experience

Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed

Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear to meet customer needs and standards

Assist team members with complex product needs and prescriptions, showcasing expertise and a willingness to help

Utilize technology effectively, managing time pressure and customer volume while maintaining exceptional product knowledge and tool usage

Proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations

Prioritize tasks, manage time, and multitask with ease, achieving exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies

Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized store appearance, taking pride in the visual presentation and contributing to a positive customer experience

Report safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices, upholding company policies and procedures

Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent

State licensure

Optical dispensing experience

Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and teamwork

Knowledge of current store merchandise, basic math skills, and awareness of fashion trends

Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technology

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous customer service and retail experience

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
