About the Position

Travel Nurse Across America is seeking a skilled Mobility Therapist to fill an immediate travel opening in Seattle, Washington.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and developing plans of care for a diverse range of patient populations within the acute care setting. This is a 13-week assignment with a guaranteed 40 hours per week, featuring 8-hour shifts during the day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient conditions and create personalized treatment plans
  • Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support staff to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Accurately bill patients and adhere to facility guidelines
  • Comply with state-specific Physical Therapy board regulations
  • Collaborate with medical center personnel and physicians to develop effective care plans
  • Familiarize yourself with adaptive equipment and use it as necessary
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Utilize hospital computer systems efficiently
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • BLS certification and state-specific licensure
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
  • Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
