Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our team at CVCH. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of our medical practice.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive and continuous medical care services within the scope of internal medicine, including non-clinic sites such as nursing homes, patient homes, school-based clinics, mobile clinics, and tele-health settings.
- Consult with other clinic providers, physicians, specialists, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Assess patient needs for specialty referrals, diagnostic and in-patient care, and make appropriate referrals for service.
- Participate in shared call systems with other providers as necessary.
- Participate in hospital duties with other providers in accordance with hospital medical staff privileges and membership expectations.
- Develop and utilize CVCH practice guidelines and procedures.
- Participate in audits and meet standards of CVCH Quality Improvement and Risk Management programs.
- Graduation from an accredited allopathic or osteopathic medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy.
- Board Eligible/Certified.
- Current, valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Washington or eligible to obtain licensure.
- Valid DEA license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Experience working in a community health center or managed care environment preferred.
- Experience in delivering services to medically underserved populations preferred.
