Billing Coordinator Opportunity

Michigan Dermatology Institute is seeking a skilled Billing Coordinator to collaborate with our practice leadership and third-party billing company. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurance eligibility verification, as well as patient accounts receivables experience. A background in dermatology billing is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with patient accounts receivables to resolve outstanding balances.
  • Set up payment plans and ensure compliance with payment regulations.
  • Verify patient eligibility for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurance.
  • Oversee cosmetic billing compliance and ensure accurate claims submission.
  • Collaborate with practice leadership and third-party billing company to resolve issues and improve billing efficiency.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurance eligibility verification.
  • 1-2 years of patient accounts receivables experience.
  • Experience in dermatology billing a plus.
