Engagement Coordinator

At HomeGoods, we're on a mission to provide our customers with a unique shopping experience. As an Engagement Coordinator, you'll play a key role in promoting a highly satisfied customer experience while driving customer loyalty.

• Promote a highly satisfied customer experience through exceptional customer service
• Develop and implement strategies to drive customer loyalty
• Train and mentor associates on frontline execution of all register transactions
• Monitor and maintain cash controls, including change funds
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and meal/break period policies
• Assign registers and coordinate breaks to ensure optimal coverage
• Audit and approve paperwork
• Maintain cleanliness, recovery, and organizational standards throughout the frontline
• Monitor frontline equipment and communicate issues to management
• Execute and adhere to company directives
• Maintain and uphold merchandising standards within the queue-line
• Ensure proper and timely handling of damages and mark out of stock
• Promote a safe environment and report any safety hazards

• High school graduate or equivalent degree preferred
• Available to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Able to work as a team member
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Able to lift heavy merchandise with or without reasonable accommodations
• Able to train and provide direction to others
• Able to run a register and handle money
• Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion
• Experience as a coordinator or previous retail/supervisory experience preferred
