Millwright Journeyman

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Journeyman to join our team at WestRock's pulp and paper mill in Longview, WA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures for assembling, dismantling, and overhauling machinery and equipment.
• Perform welding tasks, including arc welding, to repair and maintain equipment.
• Work with precision tools, such as veneer calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators, to ensure accurate measurements and alignments.
• Perform maintenance-related tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years' experience working in an industrial maintenance environment as a Journeyman level Millwright, with previous experience in a pulp and paper mill a plus.
• Formal apprenticeship or education preferred.
• Experience welding carbon and stainless steel.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision or direction.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions, read and interpret technical documents, and operate moderately complex software and web-based programs.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer-focused and a flexible, positive attitude.
• Have the appropriate body coordination to perform tasks that require climbing ladders, bending, twisting, kneeling, and crawling, pulling/pushing, standing, walking, and squatting in varying temperatures.

• Starting wage of $39.58/hour.
