Position Overview

Ludington Area School District is seeking a highly qualified mathematics teacher to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate mathematics educator to teach high school students and contribute to our school community.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement engaging mathematics curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Use technology to support and differentiate instruction, and to engage students in the learning process.
• Establish a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes student learning and well-being.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure student success.
• Develop and implement clear and measurable learning objectives for all lessons and activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate in Mathematics (EX certification).
• Valid state licensing to meet Highly Qualified requirement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Ability to integrate technology into instruction and assessment.
