The Line Technician plays a crucial role in executing vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned, adhering to both dealership and manufacturer standards. This position includes overseeing the work of any apprentice technician assigned to you. Our facility is equipped with the latest Hunter technology and all necessary manufacturer tools are organized for optimal accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive repairs on various vehicle components.
  • Perform emission diagnostics and repairs, utilizing shop-provided diagnostic tools effectively.
  • Diagnose, repair, and rebuild powertrain components including engines, transmissions, and differentials.
  • Exhibit knowledge of vehicle suspension and brake systems, including ABS, and effectively troubleshoot related electrical systems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in vehicle electrical systems, including airbag operations, and perform diagnostics and repairs ranging from simple battery replacements to complex wiring harness repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair A/C systems, demonstrating full understanding of A/C recovery and recharge processes.
  • Utilize special tools and equipment proficiently, including the ability to interpret wiring diagrams and operate various shop machinery.
  • Work efficiently to complete repairs within the designated time frames while ensuring quality workmanship.
