As a Patient Care Tech II, you'll work alongside Registered Nurses, Physicians, and other esteemed members of the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to our valued patient population.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
- Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion.
Requirements:
Minimum Education:
Preferred: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
Minimum Experience:
Required: Less than one year of previous job-related experience
Preferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
Licensure/Certifications:
Required: Certified Nurse Assistant, BLS (Basic Life Support) through AHA
Other: Completion of a Nursing Assistant Program with placement on the Illinois Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry or verification of an equal or higher educational level in a clinically focused program.
