The Data Engineer/Architect will be responsible for:

  • Implementing and executing performance tuning strategies to optimize system efficiency
  • Developing and implementing robust data models to support business requirements
  • Developing comprehensive data roadmaps outlining the strategic direction for data management, integration, and utilization
  • Reverse engineering data systems and vendor applications to understand data structures, relationships, and integration points
  • Investigating data sources, understanding data repositories, and creating documentation for future optimization
  • Providing actionable recommendations to key stakeholders and business teams for improving data quality, reliability, and efficiency
  • Collaborating in the development of data roadmaps outlining strategic initiatives to address identified gaps and drive continuous improvement
  • Establishing and maintaining data lineage documentation, mapping the flow of data from its origin through various transformations and systems

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. They will also have a strong understanding of data architecture, integration, and governance principles, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
